Kia ora
My name is Kirsty and I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education (ECE) through the University of Waikato. My family and I moved from Auckland to Paeroa in 2014, and we now call Paeroa our forever home. I live here with my husband Brendan and our children Kayler (20), Jack (16), and Bayleigh (13).

I have spent many years working as a teacher aide, and after Covid I felt inspired and confident to begin my own educational journey towards becoming a teacher. I originally began in Primary, but through my work in junior classes I discovered just how much valuable learning takes place in the early years. This led me to follow my passion and move into Early Childhood Education.

I am excited to see where this journey takes me and look forward to working alongside the children, families, and whānau of Paeroa Early Learning Centre
